I heard her at the Boundary Waters Blues Fest. Speaking of the BWBF my vote for the gutsiest move of the year goes to that crazy girl who opened up Saturday's show with Janis Joplin's Mercedes Benz... A cappella! Yeah it was Lisa! But Lisa's voice isn't rough edged like Janis', it's clean and clear as a bell. She nailed it. — Kris

Wasn't the biggest fan of the blues until I sat down and listened to Lisa's CD. After awhile I found myself wanting to listen over and over. I have seen Lisa at the Music Cafe in St paul and she did a variety of songs but this has to be one of her best sets. Will make it a priority to catch her show next time we make it to the city. Lisa has for sure found her Mojo. — mikee D
